Experiment emerged from a time of much sitting about, being small. The first track, "Experiment", was supposed to be title music for UltraWoomph, a game Mit started and then lost by plugging his hard drive in upside down (so he says). "Psirens" was created for a Subspace squad video. I hadn't heard of William Orbit at the time.
